First Coat: Tapeless Mudding
Scrap off high spots right after the hot mud sets!!!
- First Coat: Use 1 bag of high density unsandable fast setting hot mud powder such as Durabond 90, Certainteed High density 90 mix with 1 bag of Tape in Mud™️。
- Pull the joints really tight and feather the edges nicely and use a sharp putty knife to scrap off any high spots along the joints so No Sanding is needed.
- There is No Shrinkage, No Cracks.
- Prefill, taping, and first coat of mudding done by only one coat of Tapeless Mudding.
Finish drywall joints in Two Coats
- Second Coat: Coating with regular finishing mud.
- Just two coats of mudding, the joints should be ready for sanding and painting.
- Cut working time in half. Two times faster than using Continuous Flow System.
